And after this crazy maceio trip, I am back to Recife and Olinda, my last stop before Joao Pessoa, where I will meet my sweet brazilian friends Juliana and Guilherme. I already heard about the fame of recife for being a dangerous city, and because I was sort of preoccupied in Maceio, I only had one day (not even the night) for Recife and Olinda, so I totally skipped Recife part and focused on Porto Galinhas and Olinda as you will see.

Recife is a big city with Olinda as a suburb (to go to Olinda, you just take one of the public buses). Recife is famous for a lot of its churches being another interesting big city, which I am already tired of during this whole trip. Olinda is a touristic neighborhood in Recife famous for its colonial architecture. Porto de Galinhas is another port close to Recife, which is another very popular tourist district. It has a combined mixture of brazilian and local tourists. And it is a very wide beautiful beach which is very crowded compared to other beaches in Brazil (except rio).

Any beach in brazil is beautiful, I guess I am getting spoiled with beaches from this point =)

But still, you know, I was there =).

And the sea water never ceases to amaze me with all different kind of shapes it can take,, every single time....

Porto Galinhas is also very famous for its surfers. And I should admit that some of the most talented surfers I have seen, I saw them here...

And of course surfing always means that there are some other bonuses there =)

Anyways, I am young, I am sportive, and I am in Brazil!!!! I will obviously walk all over the beach =)... And the second picture is definitely some scene that is only specific to Brazil =)

And of course trees can be indecisive too =)

I would not like to be one of those crabbies over there... =)

Anyways,,, I do not have much time left, so I just hire a mototaxi (not like the ones in Iquitos, this one is really a mototaxi, you just sit in the backseat of a motorcycle ) and wait for my bus to recife, from where I will change to the bus for olinda

Finally I am in Olinda, the suburb of Recife famous for its colonial architecture... It is nice and interesting, but after having seen Cuzco and Ouro Preto, this is nothing for me honestly.. It is the bad side of having seen so many beatiful stuff =)

You just smell the feeling of the city, that more of it is just the image, rather than the regular lifestyle of the people over there. After that much of travelling, honestly I am tired of places that try to protect an image for somebody else... Do not get me wrong, it is beautiful and it preserves the history, but my problem is the way history is tried to turned into cash...

Some of those buildings are just modified in a way that the tourists will like it... Or at least it is what those views make me feel....

Anyways, I have a bus for Joao Pessoa and Juliana and Guilherme are waiting for me, so I will not spend too much time here and stay on my way....
